What is KPAP?

Kairos Positive
Airway Pressure.

KPAP is a comfort feature on the Kricket device that reduces pressure during sleep apnea treatment to make it feel more like natural breathing.

Precision pressure delivery

Kairos Positive Airway Pressure (KPAP) delivers the right pressure at the right time instead of forcing constant pressure throughout the entire breath cycle—as CPAP does.

Physician-developed

KPAP was developed by SleepRes sleep physicians to address common patient comfort challenges associated with PAP therapy.

Only on Kricket

KPAP can only be found on Kricket—the world’s first and only KPAP device—now cleared by the FDA.

How KPAP Can Help

You shouldn’t have to fight PAP therapy to fall asleep.

Frequently asked questions

CPAP maintains therapeutic pressure throughout the entire breath cycle. KPAP™, delivers the right pressure at the right time. It provides less pressure when you breathe in and restores therapeutic pressure in late exhalation, the Kairos, when the airway is most vulnerable.

See how it works

In clinical trials, 93% of patients preferred KPAP over CPAP.2 While individual results vary, Kricket addresses several of the most common reasons people give up on therapy—including pressure intolerance and mask leak.

Specific coverage depends on your plan and your DME provider. We can help you understand your options.

Yes. Kricket is allowed by the TSA to go through security.
